Destruction of the domed theaters at Arden and Ethan is underway. Ugly though they may have been, the domes were nonetheless examples of mid-century modern architecture and arguably historic. The Arden Arcade domes were supposedly the 2nd such theater facility in California. There is an effort to save the first ones, in San Jose, from demolition. The Business Journal has published an article confirming that The Container Store will be part of the new facility.
