They were here before we were. And, although the area is very different from what it used to be - asphalt, buildings and exotic plants instead of expanses of grassy fields and native trees, a lot of wildlife remains. It's kind of amazing to see ducks flying in formation over Fulton Avenue and families of wild turkeys wandering around our neighborhoods.
