A park district-city partnership in Rancho Cordova
Just another example of how a suburban Sacramento County city and a local recreation and park district partner together for the good of the citizens they serve. Rancho Cordova is providing $3M to the Cordova Recreation and Park District to fix the community swimming pool. The City of Citrus Heights similarly helped out the Sunrise Recreation and Park District for the Rusch Park pool remodel.
And, in case anyone out there is wondering, the Fulton-El Camino Recreation and Park District needs to do some serious infrastructure upgrades at Cottage Pool.
The Cordova Recreation and Park District's Cordova Community Pool has been closed. The City of Rancho Cordova has joined with the park district to remodel the facility and is seeking citizen input about the renovation.
