Two new speed tables have been placed on Bell Street just north and south of the pedestrian/bicycle crossing between Howe Park and Santa Anita Park. New warning signs have been posted, though they seem to get lost in the array of signs and other roadside stuff in that area. A more expensive, "push-to-cross" stoplight would probably be a better solution. However, it seems the speed tables are helping to slow down the motor vehicle traffic on Bell, and that's a good thing.
