If so, you may want to consider applying to the American River Flood Control District for the vacant position on their governing board. The eligibility requirement is quite simple: be a registered voter who lives within the district boundary. At the moment, there are 4 people on the Board of Directors who live in the City of Sacramento (3 in East Sacramento, 1 in Glenbrook). No one on the Board lives in Arden Arcade. Do you think someone from this side of the river should be on the Board of Directors? If so, please consider running.
