For 2020, may there be improvement in the quality of life for all residents, economic prosperity for local businesses and a reversal of the downward spiral of land uses and the adverse effects it has brought to property values across our community! The community meetings in 2019 showed a clear recognition that things can, and should, be better in Arden Arcade. In 2020 our new Supervisor will be elected, hopefully someone open to listening to us and able to articulate and advocate for our concerns at Board of Supervisor meetings. Perhaps 2020 will also awaken the state Legislature to the need to end its hostility towards local control and make it possible once again for unincorporated areas to become cities. Here’s to a good new year for all of us!
