Supervisor Desmond Community Meeting about homelessness
Supervisor Rich Desmond is hosting a public meeting on 02/09/2023 from 8-9am at the Fair Oaks Water District meeting room, 10326 Fair Oaks Blvd. in Fair Oaks. His announcement says:
"Join me on Thursday, February 9, 2023, for the first community meeting this quarter on homelessness and the County’s response. I have invited Emily Halcon, Sacramento County Director of Homeless Services and Housing, to provide an update to the constituents of the Third District. Ms. Halcon will give an update on the homelessness crisis and what the County is doing to address it. I also have invited Sergeant Lena Montoya with the Sheriff’s Department of Homeless Outreach Team to answer questions about law enforcement’s role."
