Climate Task Force meeting 9/28/23 at Arcade Library
The County's Climate Emergency Task Force will be meeting from 5:30-7:30 pm on September 28th at the Arcade Library (2443 Marconi). We don't know the agenda yet. All the Newsroom Elves could find out about the meeting so far is that it will focus on the built environment - including electrification of residential and commercial properties, zoning and related items. Previous meetings of the Task Force hereabouts have demonstrated openness to citizen input, something other county advisory committees don't always practice. Since the Task Force has determined to meet in Arden Arcade once again, here's hoping that people from our community will show up at the meeting.
The last sessions we did were presentations and we are structuring this series as open house style so people can come any time, leave any time, and just sit and talk with us about climate change and the built environment.
