Our immediate community is served by two branches of the Sacramento Public Library - the Arcade Library and the Arden-Dimick Library. This year marks the 100th year since the establishment of the Arcade Library. It's a facility with a storied history. The county-wide library system is holding a community celebration at the Arcade LIbrary to commemorate it's birthday year. The community is invited to attend the celebration on April 27th from 12:00-4:30 at the Arcade Library at 2443 Marconi. Scheduled activities include:

12:30 p.m. History of the Arcade Library & neighborhood
1:30 p.m. Refreshments and activities including balloon animals with Pixie Tribe
4:00 p.m. Magic show with Jonathan Lopez
