Who put the bollards in?
Unbeknownst to the public, the thru-access openings in the wall at the eastern end of Drayton (stairs) and Merrywood (ramp) have been made impassable - or nearly so - by a decision made by someone on the county staff who believed thieves would take Costco's bulky shopping carts away through the openings in the wall instead of simply rolling them away using one the Center's handy driveways. #PayNoAttentionToTheADA #NotPedestrianFriendly
Most anyone would have a hard time getting through the bollard-equipped openings. The spaces between the bollards and the wall at Drayton are less than the Building Code requires for access to a shower and far less than the minimum-required opening for an egress door.
