The public is invited to come enjoy “Autumn in Arden Arcade”, a free concert by the Capital Pops Concert Band. The band will be performing in the meadow at Howe Park on Sunday, October 6th from 2:30-4:30. Bring lawn chairs and/or blankets. There will be food, wine and beer available for sale. Serving our entire region, the Capital Pops Concert Band plays music from Broadway shows and movies, as well as marches, patriotic songs, and popular music from many eras. The band raises funds for its management, musicians and instruments via donations and fund-raising events. They also have a scholarship fund for young musicians. The October 6th concert is their first in Arden Arcade.
