County Supervisor Rich Desmond has announced that the North Area Sheriff's community meetings will be held in person again, starting this month. In his May 2022 newsletter he said, "I am pleased to announce that the Sheriff Community Meetings will be returning to in-person this month. This is an excellent opportunity to hear an update from the Sheriff’s Office regarding your neighborhood and a place for you to ask any questions you may have. My Office also participates in these meetings to stay up to date on the concerns of residents within my District." These meetings have been well-attended in the past. The two meetings closest to our community are:
Monday, May 16, 6:00 – 8:00 PM, 2600 Watt Ave-Country Club Lanes
Thursday, May 19, 6:00 – 8:00 PM, 4510 Orange Grove-Sheriff’s Office Community Room
