Candidate Forums to be held for June 2026 election
The Advocates for Arden Arcade have arranged for the League of Women Voters of Sacramento County to moderate four Candidate Forums for voters to hear from candidates up for June 2026 election. The Forums are co-spensored by the Greater Arden Chamber of Commerce. The public is invited and there is no charge to attend. The Candidate Forums will be held from 6:30pm-8:30pm as follows:
- April 23, Conzelmann Center at Howe Park, 2201 Cottage Way. Candidates for the newly-redistricted Congressional District 06 have been invited.
- April 28, Carmichael Library, 5605 Marconi. Candidates for State Senate District 06 and Assembly District 07 have been invited.
- May 7, Conzelmann Center at Howe Park, 2201 Cottage Way. Candidates for the newly-redistricted Congressional District 03 have been invited.
- May 11, Conzelmann Center at Howe Park, 2201 Cottage Way. Candidates for Assembly District 06 and Sacramento County Board of Education, Area 03 have been invited.

Goals for the Candidate Forums include having candidates who are running for public office educate the public about who they are, explain how they are looking to improve the daily lives of residents and businesses here in our unincorporated communities, and state why our voters should vote for them in the upcoming June and November 2026 elections. Unincorporated communities like Arden Arcade, Old Foothill Farms and Carmichael are usually starved for information about candidates whose elected offices can make a difference for the residents and businesses in our own neighborhoods and communities. Having the Forums right here in our area provides us with oportunities to express our thoughts and have our voices heard. We intend to post more information on our website and our Facebook page as we get closer to each Forum. If you need more information, please email us at advocatesforardenarcade@gmail.com.
Ballots are scheduled to be mailed to voters on May 4th. The Candidate Forums are non-partisan; all candidates for the listed offices have been invited. To become an informed voter, please take advantage of these local meetings!
