Our friends and neighbors at Save our Suburb have a lot of information about the City of Sacramento's proposal to put a homeless shelter at the old Science Center site across the street from unincorporated neighborhoods and as far away from city residents as possible.
The red dot is where the City of Sacramento wants to have a homeless shelter in between the Children's Receiving Home and the city's long-neglected Del Paso Park . The site is far from city voters, far from services needed by homeless people, and across the street from us.
